Outdoor Pedestal Bottle Filler with Front-Approach, Barrier-Free Drinking Fountain
Pedestal Bottle Filler with Drinking Fountain shall be Murdock model GYM74-FW for Frontal Wheelchair Approach. Construction shall be heavy-gauge, all-stainless steel, with an 18-gauge stainless steel fountain bowl. Pedestal base shall have four mounting holes. Access covers shall be secured with vandal-resistant stainless steel screws. The bottle filler shall be activated by a 9-volt sensor or a pushbutton as standard and provide a 1.5-gallon (5.7-liter) per minute flow rate.
The Auto-Purge Sensor function shall activate the Bottle Filler for 10 seconds 24 hours after the last activation as standard and allow for purge cycle adjustment. The unit shall contain a 100-mesh inlet strainer, a 6-AA battery pack, and a laminar-flow spout.
A self-closing pushbutton needing less than 5 pounds of force shall activate an internally mounted valve with adjustable stream regulator. Bubbler shall be stainless steel with a non-squirt feature and operate on a water pressure range of 20-105 psig.
Fountain is certified to ANSI A117.1. Unit shall be certified to Public Law 111-380 (NO-LEAD) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61. Fixture meets ADA requirements when mounted appropriately (Conformance is subject to the interpretation and requirements of the Code Authority).
