Option: Above Ground, Freeze-Resistant Three-Valve System

Model A0000000-FRA3 is an above ground freeze resistant valve system for use with specially equipped wall mounted three-station fountains with pushbutton pneumatically actuated valves.

Each FRA Box consists of Pneumatic Valve(s) with Check Valve to drain residual water, Stop and Strainer assembly, P-trap Waste with Funnel Waste Adapter. FRA Box is intended for surface mounting to wall, fabricated from heavy gauge galvanized steel, with louvered Cover secured with vandal-resistant Fasteners and includes openings for supply and waste. The unit is to be installed on the inside wall where the room temperature does not drop below 50°F (10°C). When the valves go to the off position, the water left in the supply lines and bubblers drains back into the waste tube, inside the cabinet. This permits the fountains on the outside wall to function year-round. Unit shall adhere to NSF/ANSI 61, Section 9.

INSTALLATION

This option requires locating FRA Box on an interior wall directly behind Drinking Fountain/Bottle Filler fixture in a room with temperatures that remain above freezing. Installer shall ensure that wall penetrations are properly sealed and/or insulated to suit wall construction and site conditions.
